Nampo-dong (남포동)

Nampo-dong is a commercial shopping area in Busan located in the south end of the Central District. It’s filled with endless shops, cafes, restaurants, statues, indoor and outdoor seasonal exhibits.  Similar to the Mall of America but outside.

Another unique aspect of Nampo-dong is that there is endless camera shops that head south towards the kkangtong Market, a market filled with street food and goods. As well as the Jagalchi Market, a market filled with fresh seafood that leads to the harbor. The name of Jagalchi is said to have originated from jagal, which means gravel, which would make sense because the market used to be surrounded by gravel.

Nampo-dong is such a popular tourist spot that not only Korean tourist visit but many  international tourist will come and fold the area.
