Busan Port Authority Overview

The Busan Port Authority is the governing body of the South Korean port of Busan. They are responsible for the maritime and seaport trade and it is the leading seaport in the country.

  • By improving the expertise and efficiency of the development and management of Busan Port, Busan Port will be developed as a competitive Northeast Asian shipping logistics center base and contribute to national economic development.
  • January 16, 2004. : Established Busan Port Corporation (BPA)
    2003.11.19. : Enactment of Enforcement Decree of Port Construction Act (Presidential Decree No. 18147)
    May 29, 2003. : Establishment of Port Construction Act (Law No. 06918)
